What a wonderful autumn shoe! Sleek and chic. I've been pretty busy lately, but that's not to say I haven't been buying and spending! These beauties caught my eye a while back after spotting them a few times on my Instagram feed and I can't get them out of my mind, which is always a bad sign! I'm sure these will be making their way into my collection sooner than I think...

Autumn has well and truly arrived, and I'm loving every minute. As much as I love a monochrome outfit I've slowly been incorporating and experimenting different colours. The love for camel grew from my permanent obsession with the classic Burberry trench - at the top of every wish list but never ticked, so I've learnt to cope with smaller pieces untill my hands rest on one. 

I think this croc bag from topshop is gorgeous and I'm sure that will end up in my basket pretty soon, along with a knit of some sort to pair with some ripped skinny light denim jeans and my favourite brown leather monk shoes from topshop.

or should I be saying millie manderson?! anyway, she is my ultimate style/body/hair/make up/lifestyle icon. I love her style she always looks flawless. I think what topped it for me was her wedding dress - total inspiration, If only I could look that could on my wedding day! 

She's ditched the reality TV star label, and now graces the pages of magazines and websites for her fashion, beauty and lifestyle antics. Word on the street is that she is creating her own clothing line which should be released soon! If you head over to her Instagram she has shown a few pieces of the collection, and they look beautiful.

Whilst browsing online shops this week and creating endless shopping bags of items I never end up buying, I realised half of my wishlists were filled with grey items. Light, dark, marl, two tone you name it, I'm obsessed. It's a colour that can be dressed up and down so easily, and goes perfect with black and white. What more could I want!

I've found it. The perfect winter coat already, and it's mid august. I'm sure I will change my mind a dozen of times, but for now this is at the top of my list. Dressing for winter is so much more exciting than dressing for summer, i am a layering fan and I can picture so many outfits where this coat has a home.

Finally something other than black! I am in love with this colour at the moment, it's such a soft shade that I will be definitely taking through to autumn. I am not really a fan of bright colours and prints, so I think this is the perfect way to inject some colour into my monochrome world. I seem to have found myself recently wearing the same outfit over and over, mixing a different white shirt with trousers or shorts, so I have been searching for inspiration to brighten it up a bit. Pale, pastel or cornflour blue it is.

I have just got back from a few days camping in wales with my boyfriend, I had such a lovely and relaxing time, especially as the weather was so sunny. Camping isn't the best situation to wear your favourite clothes, so I have missed my wardrobe! I love white on white at the moment, and this jumper is so light so perfect for summer evenings spent drinking cocktails with friends.

I have been working at Zara for a while now, and I love it when the new season collections start to trickle in. There is nothing better than new clean displays when sale has dominated for the past few weeks! These are just a few items I have discovered and loved from the new collection. I love the colour of the jumper, although style might be too baggy for me as I am short, but the leather fringed jacket is just beautiful, and those shoes….

Looking at pictures on the internet or Instagram is one of my favourite things to do, and I get so many outfit ideas from doing it. I love seeing how people style things and seeing if I can work my wardrobe into a similar outfit. I’m working all weekend, so I try and unwind through reading my favourite blogs and getting some inspiration.

These are some of my favourite things at the moment. The collar from Cos is perfect under jumpers in summer as it’s only a bib, not a full shirt - genius! The belt us from Billabong which I bought whilst in Australia, I seem to be wearing it with every pair of jeans I own.

I always seem to have websites and links to clothes saved in my bookmarks from random online shopping sprees. These are just a few that I have at the moment! The slip dress is Zara, the material is so light and silky, it’s beautiful. The necklace and shirt are both from Cos, which is my new favourite shop recently, the clothes are so simple but such good quality. Cos stores are so lovely too. The jeans are topshop, I have some light denim ones with knee rips, but after seeing Haim perform at Glastonbury I want my whole wardrobe to filled with white - so chic!

After spending a month in Australia recently visiting my friend who is living there and travelling the east coast, I found myself in love with Australian fashion. It was coming up to their winter months so Sydney girls were dressed in stylish monochrome outfits teamed with gorgeous coats, denim shorts and heeled black boots. I love the black and white theme that seems to be so popular recently, and Australia is perfect for it! Even though hot weather and the beach can be associated with colour and summer florals, I think a simple black and white outfit can be just as effective. I discovered the shoe brand Windsor Smith through a Swedish blog I follow and instantly fell in love. They are Australian, so as soon as I arrived in Sydney it was my first port of call and I picked up a pair of the black pony hair slip ons - so comfy. These boots are also on my wish list, the perfect pair of black cut outs are always so hard to find.

Joining the bandwagon of every single blogger out there I have become obsessed with the triangl swimwear brand (and the models!). Their swim suits are so simple but gorgeous and so flattering. My Miami mint bandeau bikini came last week with super fast posting to the uk, and I am already lusting over this black twiggy stardust. Hopefully we have a hot summer to be able to wear them!

festival essentials /short shorts

I have just got back from glastonbury festival and am still in awe at some girls outfits. The shopping is always impressive, with lots of vintage and second hand shops bursting with levis and floral printed two pieces. It was a mud bath thanks to thunder and lightening storms on friday, but nothing a poncho could sort out so that my outfits were still on show! Shorts are an essential, especially ripped ones like these from One Teaspoon, pair them with a striped shirt (Zara) and a thick knit. Hunter have got the festival footwear down to a T, I love these marble effect boots. And it wouldn't be a festival without a bit of fringe... add a feather headpiece and a dusting of glitter and you're ready for shangri la.
